Location: No. 11, St. Alban's Place, Colombo 04

Salary: LKR 50,000 – 80,000 per month
Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior / Executive – Tax to join our client's finance team. The successful candidate will assist with tax compliance, statutory filings, tax computations, and regulatory requirements while supporting the organization's day-to-day taxation functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare tax computations and assist with tax return filings.
- Handle VAT, APIT, SSCL, and other statutory tax submissions.
- Maintain accurate tax records and supporting documentation.
- Assist in responding to tax assessments and regulatory inquiries.
- Support tax audits and liaise with relevant authorities when required.
- Keep up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Provide administrative support to the tax team as required.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Part qualification in ICASL, ACCA, or CIMA will be an added advantage.
- 1–3 years of experience in taxation or accounting is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting/tax software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
