Health, Safety & Environmental Officer (HSE)

A leading Engineering company  is looking for a qualified and experienced Health, Safety & Environmental Officer (HSE) to join their team and ensure effective implementation of HSE standards across construction sites.

? Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures at construction sites.
• Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
• Identify workplace hazards and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct and monitor risk assessments and safety procedures.
• Promote a strong safety culture among employees and site personnel.
• Maintain accurate HSE records and prepare relevant reports.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure effective HSE compliance.

? Candidate Requirements

• BSc in Environmental Science or a relevant/equivalent qualification.
• Professional qualification in Occupational Health & Safety Management will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of overall experience, including at least 3 years of experience in building construction projects.
• Good knowledge of construction safety standards, risk assessments, and HSE compliance.
• Strong communication, reporting, and site coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a construction-site environment.
