Kitchen Helper

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our upcoming restaurant in Colombo 06.

Salary: LKR 30,000 – 35,000 + Service Charges
Working Hours: To be discussed during the interview.
Accommodation will be provided for male candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the chefs and kitchen staff with daily food preparation.
• Wash, clean and prepare vegetables, ingredients and kitchen utensils.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and preparation areas.
• Assist with receiving, storing and organizing kitchen supplies.
• Support the kitchen team with general duties as required.
• Follow proper food safety, hygiene and health standards at all times.

Requirements:

• Male candidates preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality/restaurant industry.
• Hardworking, responsible and able to work well as part of a team.
• Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.
• Fluency in English, Sinhala and Tamil is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Hindi will be considered an added advantage and may be reflected in the salary offered.
