Operations & HR Manager - Gampaha
As the Operations & HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in
overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction and woodwork departments while also managing human resources functions and accounts. You will ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety, while also fostering a positive and productive work environment. Your leadership and strategic planning skills will be crucial in optimizing processes, managing resources, and enhancing operational
efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, direct, and coordinate construction and woodwork projects from inception to completion.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Implement and maintain rigorous quality control and safety standards across all
operations.
• Lead and mentor a team of project managers, supervisors, and skilled workers.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Monitor and analyze project performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of employees.
• Oversee employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws.
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and employee engagement within the team.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction management and human resources, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and industry standards.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management and cost control.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software, HR software, and other relevant tools.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability.
• Understanding of HR best practices and current labor laws.
• Very good Computer and multi-tasking skills
