The company specializes in the design and installation of grid-tied solar power systems for commercial and industrial applications, as well as solar-powered solutions for electricity generation, water heating, and water purification.
With the expansion of the solar division, the company invites applications from qualified individuals for the position below.
Business Development Manager – Solar
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business growth by identifying opportunities in residential, commercial, and industrial rooftop solar markets, building a strong sales pipeline and closing deals.
- Lead and develop a small sales team, including target setting, performance coaching, and ensuring collaboration with technical and operations teams.
- Develop and execute go-to-market and marketing strategies, including pricing, positioning, and campaigns to expand market share.
- Build and manage relationships with clients, partners, financing institutions, and government stakeholders to support business growth.
- Oversee customer relations during and after project delivery, ensuring satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term partnerships.
- Stay informed on industry trends, policies, and financing models to refine offerings and maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the solar or renewable energy sector.
- Below 50 years of age
- Fully or partly qualified in SLIM / CIM / Management Diploma or Degree.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present ideas and influence decision-makers.
- A proactive and target-oriented professional capable of working independently and within a team.
- Passion for sustainability and renewable energy solutions will be a distinct advantage.
