Restaurant Captain

We are looking for an experienced, well-presented and customer-focused Restaurant Captain to join our upcoming restaurant.

Salary: LKR 40,000 – 50,000 + Service Charges
Working Hours: To be discussed during the interview.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the restaurant service team during operations.
• Ensure customers receive a high standard of service and have a positive dining experience.
• Assign duties to waiters and monitor their performance.
• Welcome and assist customers and handle their requests professionally.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth service.
• Monitor table arrangements, cleanliness and overall restaurant presentation.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve service-related issues professionally.
• Ensure restaurant service and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
• Support the Restaurant Manager with daily operations as required.

Requirements:

• Male/Female candidates are welcome.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar supervisory role, preferably in the hospitality/restaurant industry.
• Strong communication, leadership and customer-service skills.
• Pleasant personality and professional appearance.
• Ability to lead a team and work effectively under pressure.
• Fluency in English, Sinhala and Tamil is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Hindi will be considered an added advantage and may be reflected in the salary offered.
