- Working Hours: 9:00 am – 7:00 pm
True is an eco-conscious, fun-loving Kids Concept Store based in Colombo. As the business continues to grow, we are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team in a full-time retail sales and operations role, with opportunities to grow into a Sales Manager position.
About the Role This role supports the daily operations of the retail store while delivering exceptional customer service. You will be involved in sales, customer communication, stock coordination, administrative support, and creative tasks such as social media and content creation. Training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Support all aspects of day-to-day retail store operations
- Liaise with customers via WhatsApp, social media platforms, email, and in-store
- Coordinate with local and international stockist brands
- Assist with customer orders including packing, labelling, and preparing deliveries
- Maintain and update spreadsheets, databases, and inventory records
- Contribute to improving administrative and operational processes
- Assist with social media, blog content, and product design based on interest and capability
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals
- Opportunities to travel internationally based on performance
Skills & Qualifications
- Enthusiastic, hard-working, and well-organised
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail
- Minimum 1 year of retail experience preferred
- Fresh graduates may be considered for an internship role
- Understanding of social media platforms and trends (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel)
- Strong customer service mindset with willingness to go above and beyond
- Ability to problem-solve and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Positive “can-do” attitude with eagerness to learn
- Fluent in English (Sinhala and/or Tamil is an advantage)
