Cashier

We are looking for a friendly, well-presented and customer-focused Cashier to join our upcoming restaurant in Colombo 06.

Salary: LKR 35,000 – 45,000 + Service Charges
Salary may be increased for candidates with additional qualifications, particularly Hindi language proficiency.
Working Hours: To be discussed during the interview.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle cash, card and other customer payments accurately.
• Prepare and issue bills and receipts to customers.
• Maintain accurate records of daily transactions.
• Handle cash reconciliation and report any discrepancies.
• Assist customers with billing-related inquiries.
• Coordinate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth payment operations.
• Requirements:
• Female Candidates preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality/restaurant industry.
• Fluency in English, Sinhala and Tamil is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Hindi will be considered an added advantage and may be reflected in the salary offered.
• Good numerical and communication skills.
• Honest, responsible and detail oriented.
• Professional appearance and a customer-friendly attitude.
• Candidates residing in the surrounding area will be highly preferred.
