ELV Engineer / ELV Technician
Location: Nawala, Sri Lanka

About the Role
LankaStaff is seeking a skilled and experienced ELV Engineer / ELV Technician to join a growing organization specializing in commercial ELV projects. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in CCTV, networking, structured cabling, and other Extra Low Voltage systems, with the ability to manage projects from planning through commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ELV systems including CCTV, alarm panels, intercom systems, data & networking, and PA/audio systems.
- Plan and execute structured cabling projects (copper and fiber).
- Prepare accurate BOQs and quotations, identifying required materials and specifications.
- Coordinate procurement activities and liaise with suppliers.
- Supervise technicians and work crews to ensure timely project completion.
- Conduct site inspections, testing, commissioning, and system handovers.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience in ELV systems.
- Strong knowledge of low-voltage cabling standards and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple project tasks.
- Experience coordinating with clients, suppliers, and technical teams.
- Prior experience in Sri Lanka, particularly in hotel, restaurant, office, or retail projects, will be an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
