Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive for one of our clients in the casino industry. This is a full-time, office-based role located at Lotus Tower. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing tax-related functions and ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements in Sri Lanka.
Location: Colombo 10
Working Hours: 09:00 AM – 06:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 07:00 PM
Salary Range: LKR 80,000 – 120,000 (based on experience & qualifications)

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file VAT, SSCL, WHT, and Income Tax returns accurately and on time
- Maintain tax schedules and ensure timely statutory submissions
- Reconcile monthly tax accounts with supporting documentation
- Assist in tax computations and coordinate timely tax payments
- Liaise with the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) on tax matters and correspondence
- Prepare and submit monthly tax liability reports to management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional qualification)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or taxation
- Strong knowledge of VAT and other statutory tax regulations in Sri Lanka
- Experience dealing with the Inland Revenue Department (IRD)
- Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Female candidates are encouraged to apply
